Wednesday, September 1, 2010Posted by The Princess... Taiwan Trip Day 2 Sorry for the long wait! Been so busy with work lately. Here's the post on Day 2 of our Taiwan trip~ (^o^)/ We went to Guang Hua Digital Plaza (光华数位新天地) located near Zhongxiao Xinsheng station (忠孝新生站). It's a place that sells electronics products, similar to our Sim Lim Square. Didnt bought anything there except food! Lol~ We bought 金牛角. It's a kind of bread. You can choose to eat it with ice cream! Yeah but we didnt. Keke~ (＾∇＾)   Then we went to Zhongxiao Fuxing station (忠孝复兴站) for lunch at Jay Chou's restaurant - 豚屋日式炸豬排!! It's located at: 台北市大安路一段51巷16號 ( 02 )2776-1278   A real piggy outside the shop!  I ordered Curry Pork Cutlet and boyfriend ordered Cheese Pork Cutlet. They were yummy! d(-_^)   Boyfriend busy preparing the sauce     ∑(O_O；) Curry pork cutlet with no curry!! Nah just kidding..the sauce was in the bowl behind. Keke.    Saw the cheese oozing out~~~?  Super full lah~~~~~!  And finally our dessert! (^～^) The whole meal costed about NT$500 which is only about S$20! And we were sooooo full. Okie I tend to get full easily but even big appetite boyfriend was full. Keke! （ ＾＾）  Spotted a pink van on the way back! Coolz~ Window-shopped at Sogo Dept Store (太平洋 Sogo 忠孝馆). OMG the stuff are so expensive~~~~ (＾□＾*) Definitely not going to buy anything there! Then we went back to Zhongxiao Fuxing station to shop at the East Metro Mall. It's an underground mall which connects two MRT stations - Zhongxiao Fuxing and Zhongxiao Dunhua (忠孝敦化). Spotted the famous Cosmed shop (康是美)! Grabbed two boxes of facial masks, two boxes of eye masks and a Majolica mascara.  Lots of shops selling accessories, shoes and not forgetting umbrellas! Haha~ I bought a pair of sandal and a Rilakkuma earpiece. Looks kinda fake cos of the colour ( ´ ▽ ` ) We oso bought martial arts books for LLC.  I wore this new sandal everyday in Taiwan!   Guess who got what? Hee~ We exited at Zhongxiao Dunhua station. It was raining heavily!! Booooo~ Went back to the underground mall to get an umbrella. Then we went to Sugar & Spice (糖村) to get some nougats (highly recommended!!) Their cakes looked pretty too!  We decided to go back to hotel to put down our stuff and oso to wait for the rain to stop. Yea~ TV time for me!! (＾∇＾) Visited Taipei 101 in the evening. To get there, drop off at Taipei City Hall station (台北市政府站) and catch a bus from there. I've forgotten what bus no. we took. It's not very far away from the MRT station.     We went in and bought the tickets. It's NT$400 per person. The outdoor observatory area was closed that day due to the weather. Ahhhh~ what a waste!    Took this pic while entering the queue. Boyfriend bought the left one (4714e)!  I love their lift! When the lift was moving up, it will dim and lots of "stars" will appear on the ceiling. It's so pretty!!! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ Can our HDB lift do the same thing too? Keke!   Tried to take some pics of the night view but failed! Lol~     Shopped around in the gift shop. Bought a hp strap for myself and notepads for my colleagues.    Boyfriend was thinking of buying the whole set home! Seriously I think it was the nautical boat that caught his attention. Keke~  Boyfriend trying to "communicate" with him!    Boyfriend taking photo with every damper but I think he missed out the black one!     Heading our way to find some place for dinner and saw a cute looking plant!  Had our dinner at the food court. It was already 9 plus by then and we were so hungry~~~~~  Ramen ramen ramen~ ♪♪♪ Taipei 101 was closing by the time we finished our food. So we decided to go back to the hotel. Waited at the bus stop for about half an hour? And finally the bus came, we boarded the bus and came to realize that it's the wrong bus!! ∑(O_O；) But in the end we managed to catch the right bus and reach the MRT station safely.
