Monday, June 6, 2011Hong Kong Trip Day 1 Yippee~~ time for another overseas trip! O(≧∇≦)OIt was boyfriend's graduation trip (yes, he's finally stepping into the working life keke). Air tickets and accommodation were booked two weeks prior to the trip. Yeah quite rush I know. Since boyfriend had been to HK before, we settled the itinerary very quickly (笑) As usual we took morning flight cos we wanna reach ASAP so we could spend more time there! Departure was at Terminal 1 (kinda quiet probably becos of the renovation going on). And people taking the flight looked so dead, it sort of dampen my excitedness. Haha! It finally took off! Love it when the plane is in the clouds~~ Reached HK airport at about 10 plus. We bought the train tickets for Airport Express line to Kowloon station. Oh we also bought our Octopus card at the same counter as well. Actually Octopus card can also be used for the Airport Express line (well..we didnt know that, so we bought the train tickets haha). We stayed in The Cityview hotel which is conveniently accessible by the free Airport Express Shuttle Bus service. Juz let the staff know which hotel u staying and they will guide u the bus to take. The journey to hotel was fast since our bus only stopped at three hotels, and we were the first to drop off! Was quite happy with the service provided by the concierge staff as well as the guys who helped us with our luggage. But the staff at the front desk sucks!! Not very helpful and whatever u asked, they juz direct u to the concierge instead. Overall we were happy with the room. Toilet was kinda small though. And the water went siao siao whenever we tried to change the temperature. Have to wait about 5 mins to get the right temperature ( ̄へ ̄) Boyfriend brought me to a nearby 茶餐厅 for lunch cos my stomach was roaring (笑) Food was only so-so to me but boyfriend likes it though. Silly boyfriend accidentally added vinegar to the congee lol And after lunch, we bought our fav bubble tea - Gong Cha!! In fact, we drank it everyday! Lol~ Next stop - The Peak & Wax Museum! We took MTR to Central station and walked to the peak tram terminal. There are signage to the peak tram so not to worry about being lost ( ^_^) Look at how steep the tram goes! Took lots of photos at the Wax Museum. Too many to upload everything here! Time to get up close with the stars! Lol~ I wished he's real!! (笑) Doesn't look like Ayumi ya? ( ̄へ ̄) Boyfriend forced me to take pic with him. Dun really like him cos I think he looks scary~~ (>o<) Beckham~~~ ♥♥♥ Gosh~ I'm only half of him!! Naughty boyfriend! (笑) They dun look like Twins at all lo!!! Saw a Disneyland ticketing booth and decided to buy our tickets there. Do I look like a Disney princess? (^ ^) Shopped in the Peak Mall for awhile before leaving the place via the Peak Tram. Queue was long but we didnt wait long though. We went to watch "A Symphony Of Lights" after dinner. Well..the show wasnt exactly very happening. The wind was very strong that day and it was kinda foggy too. That's all for Day 1~~ Stay tuned for Day 2! Good nite everyone (^ _ ^)/~~サヨナラ Labels: A Symphony Of Lights, Hong Kong, The Peak, Travel, Wax Museum 0 comments written @ 1:50 AM |
