Frasers Centrepoint Malls Celebrates Earth Day With Its Shopping Community 17 to 26 April 2009 This April, Frasers Centerpoint Malls are celebrating Earth Day with simple greening activities! Spend a min. of $120 to receive a travelling cutlery set or a min. of $100 at any store offering Green Deals. You'll also stand a chance to win the eco-friendly Chevrolet Optra Magnum Sedan 1.6A CNG with every $50 spent. Terms & conditions apply! :D You can refer to the poster above for stores offering Green Deals. Every mall will be playing its part for Earth Day. More details of the activities for each mall can oso be found in the poster. At Compass Point, we have a Salvation Army Book Bazaar on 19 April (Sunday). In addition, MediaCorp's Kym Ng & Bryan Wong will be at Compass Point from 3pm to 5pm! You can bring your good conditioned recyclables (together with same-day receipts) & exchange them for vouchers or gifts in the games hosted by them. These recyclables will be donated to Woodlands CCC or Salvation Army. From now till 26 April, you can find an mini Eco City in Compass Point, at Level 1 atrium! It is a model town built entirely from our everyday recyclable materials! The residents of Sengkang might find the model town familiar too! Keke.. The purpose of this Eco City is to discover many fun ways to reinvent & creatively make use of the recyclable materials. There are also interesting fun facts on how to have a 'greener & cleaner' way of life with the 3 Rs. (Do you still remember wat r the 3 Rs? Heehee~) Here are some photos of the Eco City!
This mini train can really move ooo~ We have activites lining up for the kids as well! Fun Ahoy! is an activity meant for kids aged 4 to 12 years old. Workshops are conducted twice a month (on Saturdays) & the themes for each month r different. Kids who attended the workshops oso can get a FREE Goodies Bag! This month, kids can learn to create a robot using a box & they can even put the robot on wheels!
