Monday, January 4, 2010Posted by The Princess... New Year Eve Gathering Welcome to my first post of the year!!! Had steamboat wif the group on new year eve. Been a long time since we met up. Thanks to boyfriend for sacrificing his house for the gathering! Keke. Ended work at 12.30pm and went over to boyfriend's house to prepare for dinner. The whole house was so tidy and neat!!! I thot tat I entered the wrong house. Lol~ Well done dear dear! Watched the movie 'Drag me to hell' after boyfriend was done wif his housework. Eeeeeks~ The old lady was gross~~~ Stupid boyfriend decided to scare me when I was being very engrossed in the movie! Made me jumped up ^o^ Tink he's been waiting for this chance for a long time. Went over to NTUC after the movie to buy food for the steamboat. It was super crowded! Boyfriend was asking me whether could I cook the soup for the steamboat, I was like 'ehhhh'. Keke~ Lucky boyfriend's mum decided to knock off and go home to help prepare for the dinner. Not tat I dun wan to help, juz tat I dunno wat to do mah. When it comes to cooking or preparing food, boyfriend ALWAYS give me face and start saying tat I wasnt helping. Hmmph! Jia jia was the first to reach. After helping out for awhile, she stopped liao. Haha~ Then I stopped too and went chatting wif her :p Dere wasnt much left to do anyway. Soon Baobei reached also. Well she was earlier than the guys but she reported later than the time we told her! But she's very proud tat she reached earlier than the guys! Keke~ Baobei permed her hair too!! We look alike now! LOL~ No photos taken during the dinner. First, I was too hungry to take any photos of the people or food. Second, when I decided to snap some pictures, boyfriend confiscated my camera. The food dun seem enuff to feed everyone, esp the guys. Muz increase the potion next time. This time Baobei was in charge of peeling the prawn shells! Hee~ Told her tat I dun wan to spoil my nail art :p And as usual Jia jia was LAZY~~~~ Keke~ Finished dinner and went off to watch Gokusen. Jia jia and Baobei joined me. We were happily watching our show when boyfriend came and told us to go and play the board game tat Ian brought over. I dun feel like playing the moment I heard tat need to use calculator! They wont start the game wif us girls in the room. So boyfriend snatched over the controller and off my show and we were forced to go out to play. This game is called 'Smart Money'. When I saw the income statement and balance sheet, I already felt like turning back to watch my show. Jia jia was looking at me wif very ke lian eyes lo. Keke~ First, all players chose a dream/goal tat he/she wanted to attain. Boyfriend and me chose 'Buy a dream car'. Jia jia and Baobei chose 'Build a luxurious mansion'. I wish tat I could have both in reality! Keke.  Then the players would choose a card to decide their occupation. Boyfriend chose 'Lawyer'! $$$$ Asy got the highest pay job - Medical specialist. And Jia jia/Baobei got the lowest among the players - Teacher. Lol~ Boyfriend and me checked thru the stack of occupation cards. Jia jia/Baobei did not get the lowest pay job. Dere were even lower ones - Police officer and Nurse!
Ian was the advisor since no one else noes how to play the game. While they were playing the game, Jia jia and me were busy snapping away wif our cameras.    (Didnt realize tat 3 of us were wearing white tees until I uploaded this photo)
Jia jia and me decided to take a shot of us playing the game too. Haha~
I was commenting tat boyfriend looked like some loanshark tallying his account. Keke~ And I requested a cocky expression from him. He did but I shall not post tat un-glam photo here. It will be kept in my private collection. Haha~ When it's about time, we turned on the tv to watch the countdown and fireworks. I tried taking pictures of the fireworks. Haha~ I noe tat I'm being lame. Then they continued the game again. Baobei was already very sianz but Jia jia had no intention of taking over the game. Haha~ Boyfriend was fed up wif the calculations as well. Tink tat Ian was kinda sad when we did not appreciate the game. Haha~ He was really excited about the game.
